Morningside children’s nursery is an existing childcare provision which was established in 2010 as a worker co-operative. Previously situated in the grounds of the Royal Edinburgh Hospital the nursery has since moved to the existing premises of Nile Grove. The nursery provides day care and learning to children aged 3 months – School entry. It provides a safe and secure environment for its clients. The nursery delivers education in partnership with the City of Edinburgh Early years department. We use a number of documents such as Curriculum for Excellence, Realising the ambition and Pre Birth – three to name a few. The Ethos of the nursery is to treat every child as individuals regardless of age, race or background circumstances. It is our mission to work in partnership with families where we can work together to provide the best possible outcomes for our children. Where children are given the opportunity to build positive friendships developing solid foundations for future relationships. Bonnington House Nursery is an independently run nursery situated in Edinburgh. The nursery cares for children aged from three months-old to five years old. Established in 2012, Craigmillar Park Nursery and Preschool is situated within a spacious Victorian mansion house in the South of Edinburgh City and is registered for 121 children. The seven playroom rooms are on two floors, providing large, bright learning spaces with plenty of daylight. In addition, the nursery benefits from a 1,142 sqm ample outdoor space, a reception area where you will be welcomed by the receptionist, two dining areas, and an industrial kitchen that supplies freshly prepared meals onsite. The downstairs playroom benefits from direct access to the gardens divided for specific ages and stages of children’s development. Housed in two spacious, airy, modern buildings with generous gardens, and situated in leafy Greenbank, a quiet residential area near Morningside in South Edinburgh, City and Little City Nursery can accommodate up to 143 children aged 0 to 5 years. Our lovely nursery strives to provide the very best quality childcare and preschool education for all our children. Notwithstanding our size, you can still expect a warm personal welcome for your child and an individualized nurturing approach tailored to your child's needs. Our aim is to ensure all our children feel valued, safe and cared for to the highest standards. Our new setting at Craiglockhart Avenue, opened its doors in September 2024, registered for 50 children. This stunning traditional Edwardian villa was built in the early 1900s.St. Margarets Nursery acquired the property in 2024 and completely transformed it by creating modern purpose-built playrooms and adding an industrial kitchen to meet the newest standards. It provides downstairs open plan playrooms, cosy upstairs facilities for smaller children, and a 228 sqm large outdoor space. STM at Craiglockhart Avenue is just off Lanark Road, near Edinburgh Napier University. The nursery benefits from its position close to natural greenery, such as the Union Canal and Easter Craiglockhart Hill Local Nature Reserve. Dreghorn Preschool & Creche is a Scottish Charity which runs a nursery for the children of members of the armed forces community in Dreghorn, Edinburgh. We operate during school terms only, with opening hours from 8am until 3pm Monday to Thursday and close at 12:15 on a Friday. We are a Edinburgh City Council registered provider of Early Years learning, offering funded and non-funded places to children from across the local community. Flying Colours Nurseries opened its new state-of-the-art nursery at Cammo Meadows, Edinburgh in May 2024. Situated just off Edinburgh's Maybury Road, our newest setting provides early years care and education for over 100 children in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

Links Nursery is an independent nursery which has been operating in East Lothian since 1995. We provide quality childcare, and a safe, nurturing learning environment for children aged 0 to 5, in a spacious traditional stone building with three large garden areas in a lovely setting beside Musselburgh racecourse. Our friendly and caring staff team will ensure a warm personal welcome for your child and an individualized nurturing approach tailored to your child's needs. We serve all of Musselburgh, Wallyford, Longniddry, the wider Edinburgh area and the Lothians, and we work in partnership with East Lothian council to provide council funded places for preschool children. We offer full time and part time contracts, with our opening hours being 7.30am until 6pm. We are part of Links Nurseries Ltd, a company which runs a respected and well established group of three nurseries in Edinburgh, East Lothian, and Aberdeenshire.
