Morningside children’s nursery is an existing childcare provision which was established in 2010 as a worker co-operative. Previously situated in the grounds of the Royal Edinburgh Hospital the nursery has since moved to the existing premises of Nile Grove. The nursery provides day care and learning to children aged 3 months – School entry. It provides a safe and secure environment for its clients. The nursery delivers education in partnership with the City of Edinburgh Early years department. We use a number of documents such as Curriculum for Excellence, Realising the ambition and Pre Birth – three to name a few. The Ethos of the nursery is to treat every child as individuals regardless of age, race or background circumstances. It is our mission to work in partnership with families where we can work together to provide the best possible outcomes for our children. Where children are given the opportunity to build positive friendships developing solid foundations for future relationships.
