This unique setting provides fantastic opportunities for the children who not only have their own dedicated nursery garden but access to woodland, pastures, a stream, a fully working farm and all that the surrounding countryside can offer. We organise regular visits from the animal care team, visit the farm during lambing and actively encourage involvement with nature – whether it’s identifying different leaves, discovering where apples come from, bug hunting or spotting birds’ nests high up in the trees.

Our nursery is based at Chichester College and it is currently our largest setting . In addition to a fantastic, purpose built space, we have regular access to the college playing fields as well as having our own dedicated nursery gardens. We have an experienced team at Chichester, headed up by Nursery Manager Emily Moore. Each child has a Key Person who works in partnership with their parent or carer to ensure their individual needs are being met at all times.

Located at the foot of the South Downs, First Steps Worthing has been established as a nursery for more than 10 years and is headed up by Nursery Manager, Cat Tobin. Situated in a convenient central location for parents working in Worthing or surrounding areas, and located a few minutes’ walk from the local park which allows the opportunity for children to explore their wider world. Each of our four rooms are bright, open plan spaces with lots of natural light. The children can start nursery from birth in Little Eggs where they will be supported in the transition from home to nursery with engaging sensory activities. Then they will move their way up through Caterpillars and Blossom before finally entering our Butterflies room which is set up to help prepare children for starting school. Each room offers age and stage appropriate toys and planned activities that give them a wide variety of learning within their environment.
