Description

A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at our private nursery in the heart of East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire. Kirktonholme Nursery offers exceptionally high standards of childcare and education for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.

The Nursery provides full-time and flexible part-time daycare for children between the hours of 8:00 am and 6 pm, Monday to Friday.

At Kirktonholme our ethos is based on the understanding that children are foremost their own educators and natural learners with ability, curiosity and imagination. A child’s experience in the early years has a major impact on their future. We recognise that every child is an individual with gifts and talents particular to them. One of our tasks is to recognise these talents and draw them out.

Excellent child care is vital for you and for your child and at Kirktonholme Nursery we lay down the foundations so as when your child leaves nursery to go to school they leave happy, educated, independent, confident and equipped for their big step.

The nursery provides snacks and lunch for your child. Toast/cereal and milk/water is served in the morning and a freshly home-cooked lunch is provided. A varied afternoon snack is offered to the children as well as 3 portions of fruit and vegetables a day. We pride ourselves on providing a great range of healthy cooked meals that use seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables with a priority of both low salt and sugar.
