Welcome to Kirktonholme Childcare Wishaw, a warm and nurturing 53-place nursery set within the grounds of Wishaw General Hospital. We are proud to offer high-quality early learning and childcare in a secure, supportive and inspiring environment where every child is valued, respected and encouraged to flourish.

Our dedicated team of 16 practitioners — a blend of experienced staff, trainees, and strong room leadership — work collaboratively to provide a rich and child-centred experience. We operate from 8am–6pm, with an option to open at 7.30am if needed. Families can choose from full-day, morning or afternoon sessions, with discounted rates available for full-time bookings.

At Kirktonholme Wishaw, we continually reflect on and enhance our practice. We work closely with parents and carers, involve them in meaningful evaluations, and host regular family events that strengthen our community. Guided by leading early years theory, including Froebel and Reggio Emilia, we promote calm, natural and engaging spaces where children learn through curiosity, relationships and play.
