The Little Boat Nursery

The Little Boat Nursery is a warm, nurturing and welcoming family-run early years setting in Shepperton, providing high-quality care and education for children from babies through to pre-school.

As a family-run nursery, we understand how important it is for parents to feel completely comfortable and confident in the people caring for their child. We pride ourselves on creating a personal, home-from-home environment where families feel known, valued and genuinely part of our nursery community.

Our aim is to ensure every child feels safe, secure, happy and confident to explore. We recognise that every child is unique, so our experienced team takes time to build strong relationships with each child and their family, getting to know their individual routines, interests, development and personality.

Our rooms are thoughtfully organised to support children at each stage of their early years journey, with age-appropriate activities, learning opportunities and resources that encourage curiosity, independence, creativity and confidence. We follow the EYFS framework while allowing children plenty of opportunity to learn naturally through play, exploration and meaningful everyday experiences.

We place a strong emphasis on communication with families and believe that parents are an important part of their child’s learning journey. Regular observations, updates and developmental reviews help us work together to support each child’s progress.

Fresh meals and snacks are prepared on site, and we aim to provide children with nutritious, balanced food throughout their nursery day.
