Kirktonholme Broomhill Nursery is a warm and welcoming nursery located in the heart of the Broomhill community in Glasgow’s West End. We provide full day care for children aged 0–5 years. As a private nursery in partnership with Glasgow City Council, we are able to offer funded preschool places for children from the age of 3. Our nursery benefits from bright, spacious playrooms within a purpose built setting, designed to spark curiosity and imagination, alongside a large secure outdoor garden space where children can explore, play, and learn in the fresh air. Being in the West End, we also make use of our local surroundings with access to nearby parks and amenities, giving children opportunities to connect with their community and the natural world. Kirktonholme Broomhill Nursery provides care and education from 8am – 6pm, Monday to Friday, with both full-time and part-time places available. We only offer full day care. Kirktonholme is part of a group of private nurseries providing childcare across the central belt of Scotland. The nursery is privileged to have a huge secured garden area to the rear which includes a baby garden and a welcoming garden space at the nursery entrance. We are within walking distance to Tollcross Park which has its very own miniature farm and also has access to other local amenities. The nursery was established in March 2003 and has grown over the past 8 years, we currently provide daycare and education to 78 children between 8 am – 6 pm Monday to Friday on a full and part-time basis. We cater for children from Birth to Pre-school, providing part-time or full-time spaces. We work in partnership with Glasgow City Council and provide government funding for children aged 3 and over. Our staff team work hard to create a welcoming and homely environment for our parents and children ensuring we are working closely with them and providing the best possible start for our children. We aim to meet each individual child’s specific learning needs and allow them to achieve their full potential. We pride ourselves on good communication and like to keep links strong between the nursery and parents and carers. We have two baby rooms situated on the ground floor which we can hold 9 babies, along with our toddler room which can care for 20 2-3-year-olds, and our Pre-school rooms which look after 40 children. We have recently acquired Orchard Park Thornliebank Orchard Park Nursery (now Kirktonholme Childcare – Thornliebank), nestled in a historic church in Thornliebank, Glasgow, and now part of Kirktonholme Childcare, offers a nurturing environment for children. Kirktonholme Govan is a beautiful purpose-built nursery that opened in March 2017. The nursery is ideally situated in a prime location connecting many of Glasgow’s busiest neighbourhoods. The nursery has a spacious car park which is convenient and safe when dropping off and picking up children. Our staff work hard to create a welcoming and homely environment for all our parents and children. Within the nursery, we have five playrooms which consist of two baby rooms, a toddler room and two interlinking playrooms for our young children from around the age of three until school age.

Kirktonholme Childcare – Bearsden Nursery is a quality childcare provider, we believe in providing the very best care and learning for your child. Kirktonholme Bearsden provides a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment with all four playrooms being bright and airy and decorated to a very high standard. We have our Ladybirds and Bumble Bees Room (under 2 years), Caterpillar Room (2 years -3 years old) and Busy Bugs playroom (3-5 years old). The nursery is open weekdays from 8 am – 6 pm and we offer full daycare.

Our building is a bright and open space with lots of natural light flowing through the windows. We are also very lucky to have a vast outdoor space where children can explore and discover in their natural surroundings. Every room has direct access into their own garden space which allows free flow play between the indoors and out, as well as this we are surrounded by beautiful woodlands which we have access to from our nursery garden. We are very lucky to have a fantastic woodland space of our own that allows our children to truly explore the nature around them. We ensure that nurture and attachments are at the heart of our service, staff will spend time getting to know you and your family to allow for a smooth transition from home to nursery.
