Flexible childcare when you need it.
We get it. We understand sometimes you need childcare for just a few hours a day. You don’t want to commit to paying for a nursery space and you don’t need a nanny, so you can be left feeling a bit stuck.
Do you work from home? Are you trying to squeeze work calls in when your child is napping? Do you feel like you're not giving anything your 100%?
We have been there, and although it seems like a good idea, you feel deflated and rushed all the time. We can help with that feeling! Pop your child in to RLO for a few hours, concentrate on work and then collect them and enjoy an afternoon together, knowing you have been productive and not juggling emails and parenting.
But…
As a parent, YOU need some time to yourself, but when childcare options are limited, this can be difficult and can seem impossible.
That’s why we created flexible, ad-hoc childcare, so you can…
Work form home, do a food shop …have a hot cup of tea!

We have a wide variety of resources to cater for babies to 5 year olds. As we have different children in every day, we rotate the toys and materials for the age and stage of the children. We also believe that children can become overwhelmed with a huge selection so we support and encourage the children to chose what they would like to play with each day. We encourage and support children of all abilities and stage of development so we try to cover all aspects of the child's needs. For example, we have a calming baby and story area, role play and dress up, arts and crafts, messy play, construction and an abundance of resources to encourage the child's curiosity and imagination.
Messy play is a great way for children to work on their fine motor skills, problem solving and hand and eye coordination. Messy play allows children of all ages to explore different textures and engage their senses. It allows children to use their natural curiosity and engage their senses at the developmental level appropriate for them. They learn foundational cognitive principles as they exercise motor, language and social skills. It allows the child to explore materials, shapes, colours and textures. It can help your child to express themselves creatively and it creates a sensory experience to help children understand how things feel, smell and taste.
